Social Service Programs 

The Social Services department at CACEHR Richland offers special programs for help with all areas of daily life, including: (All programs are subject to funds availability.)

 

  •  Fathers Matter - Increasing pro-fathering knowledge, skills, and attitudes; increasing healthy interaction with children and mothers; decreasing the social, emotional, and physical problems associated with fatherhood; and helping men become self-sufficient.

  • Motherhood - participation in activities that reinforce learning objectives and increase their capacity to improve the relationships with their child’s father and increasing understanding of the importance of the father’s involvement in the lives of the child(ren), helping women become self-sufficient.

  • Essentials Closet - provides personal hygiene items to low-income participants.

  • Uniform Assistance - help to pay for required work uniforms including clothes, shoes, eyewear, etc.

  • Employment Training - preparing participants for employment through resume building, interview preparedness, etc.

  • Emergency Utility Assistance—helps participants with one month of utility disconnections.

  • Rental Assistance - helps participants pay rent upon receipt of an eviction notice.
