CAA-HRP Relief PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE CAA-HRP RELIEF PROGRAM?

 

RENT & UTILITIES

Customers may qualify for up to fifteen total months of assistance including past due and three current/future months. This funding is only available to customers who are renters. If a customer owns their home or has an active mortgage they do not qualify for this program.

Funding will be available until December 31, 2021. Interested applicants are encouraged to reach out early. Funding is only available for expenses dating back to March 13, 2020.​

 

For rental assistance

The following documentation is required::

  • Photo ID

  • Household Citizenship

  • Household Income for 90 days

  • COVID Attestation

  • Hand Application

  • OCEAN Application

  • Landlord Verification

  • W-9

  • Proof of Ownership

  • Lease

Rent – up to fifteen months total, can include up to twelve past due and three current/future months. There is no cap on dollars spent per household for this program as long as the month cap is not exceeded.  Households do have to be in arrears for assistance but must reapply every three months to show that their situation has not changed. When applying for current assistance only, the cap is 12 months total assistance. 

For utility assistance

The following documentation is required:

  • Utility Bill

Utilities can be metered or unmetered; can be regulated or non-regulated; and can include gas, electric, water, sewer, bulk fuels, and trash removal.
